In early 1500s, there was a king Sugandan of Pallava dynasty in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, India has three kids from whom the youngest kid was Daruma Bodhidharma. He was very strong and intelligent. For the protection of the umpire, the kings and ministers derived some tricks of combat from animals which is very helpful at the time of war which was called as 'Kalari Patayu', along with it as Hindu dharma used Ayurveda for medical purposes, it was recited by every student. At that time, there was a system in Which there is a Raj Mata who is mother of the King and has a power of punishing the king in olden times. Once Raj Mata of their umpire ordered Daruma Bodhidharma to reject and leave all royalties and go towards north-east. Daruma accepted and left everything and gone towards China on a horse. In jungle, he started updating his spiritual practices, he became a Buddhist and increased his martial arts skills at extreme master level and he had the power of controlling everything , even a person (Like magic). After one year of extreme practice on the way, he finally reached his destination, he reached a Chinese village, at that time, chinese villagers were severely attacked by warriors in ordered to be exploited and were unable to do anything. There was head person in village who used to know astrology and do predictions about weather, to know about their harvests. Before fews days of arrival of Bodhidharma, he predicted that a large suffering will come, because of that when Daruma arrived they thought that the suffering which was predicted is none other then Daruma himself so they told him to leave their village. But the real suffering was started after he left, Chicken Pox kncked the door of their village and at that time there was no solution for that type of illness, Then Daruma came and cured everyone in the village with the knowledge of Ayurveda. Everyone in the village started worshipping Bodhidharma assuming him as God. Then, Daruma teached Ayurveda to chinese villagers. Then, he also started teaching martial arts, Kalari Patayu to villagers. As the time passed, they got powers like Bodhidharma.

Daruma was a spiritual being and he accepted and ate that food and died and the villagers buried him and at that place a temple was formed of Daruma which is called as Shaolin temple in present time.
