How to get rid of stage fear?
Stage fear solutions
Today, we are going to discuss some points, which you need to keep in mind when you are expressing yourself among people to attract them. If you follow this points, you will look smart, but the main thing is upon you. It depends upon how you perform it. So these are the tips.
1. Eye contact :
Maintain your eye contact with everyone who are listening, don't stuck at one person when you are saying something, look at the face of every person listening one by one. Never look nervous, they will not eat you if you do a mistake. If an embarrassing situation stood up, then speak up the truth. For example, I am among 10-15 people and suppose my tongue slips and spoke something else by mistake, then I will just say sorry to everyone, my tongue slipped. Just like that if an embarrassing situation arises then, accept it publicly with confidence and then if someone laughs then join them and you laugh too. This don't makes you insulted.
2. Stance :
Stand straight, Keep your back, neck and body straight. If you are talking to someone shorter than you then you can bend your neck for eye contact. Move your hands according to your speech. If you are standing on a stage then keep moving on stage. This makes the people feel that you are giving importance to everyone whether they are sitting on left or right. Walk without dragging your feet. If a situation arises where you have to think something and disturb the eye contact then don't look down, look beside. For example, I am asked by someone a question, for which I have to think for answer so I took my eyes from the asker and looked towards sunset ( sunset means you are looking at an angle of sun at evening ) but I don't looked down.
3. Speaking :
It is also matter that how you speak. The most important thing in your speech is your volume and tone. Your volume should be according to people hearing you. If there are many peoples then turn up your volume, if people are less than low volume is enough, if you are talking to individual and he is speaking with volume up then you can turn up your volume slightly. Your tone should be according to your content. If you are giving a motivational speech then you could be hard and louder, If you are advising something then you should be soft.
So these are the ways you can attract people on stage and also make your speech more interactive and attractive.
